Phishing Alert!

We have been recently notified that our members may have received phone calls from someone stating that GLCU has sold their personal information. The scammer then asks the member to verify personal information. Please be assured that GLCU has never and does not intend to ever sell your private personal information to anyone. If you should receive one of these phone calls, do not respond to their requests for personal information. Hang up and call us locally at (847) 578-7000 or call toll free at (800) 982-7850.

PIN Reversals: Misinformation Could Lead to Personal Safety Issues.
The Internet can often quickly spread "urban myth" stories. One of the newest is PIN reversal at an ATM to signal duress. Financial Institutions within the United States have not deployed this technique despite several well circulated email chain letters that have misstated this fact. Please be advised that PIN reversal is not a valid security option at the ATM.
