The Security and protection of your account transactions is a top priority at Great Lakes Credit Union. To safeguard your accounts against fraudulent activity, we may occasionally restrict VISA® Credit, Debit & ATM Card transactions in countries where fraud is prevalent.

When making travel arrangements abroad, please refer to the Blocked Country list below. Red check marks indicate transactions have been blocked for your personal protection. Please carefully review detailed descriptions in the Blocked Transaction Key. Contact us if you need more information about card restrictions.

  • Hotels

  • Tour Operators
  • Travel Agencies
• Non face-to-face Currency Transactions
  Merchandise and Services from a Financial Institution must be performed in a face-to-face environment. All non face-to-face transactions with a Financial Institution are blocked.
• Tele-Communications Services Blocked Include:
  • Local & Long Distance Calls
  • Calling Card Calls
  • Calls Through Use of Magnetic Strip Reading Telephones & Fax Services
  • May also Include Cellular Phone Services & Pre-paid Calling Cards.
